Brief Description of Books 3-8 in the Series

The Prophet of Mercy
Book 3: Glad Tidings in the Two Testaments about the Coming of Muhammad: The Prophets who came before Muhammad (r), including Jesus, peace be upon him, brought Basha-ir, or glad tidings, about the coming of Muhammad (r); This book expounds on the glad tidings contained in the Two Testaments concerning the coming of Muhammad (r) and compares them to various Quranic and Prophetic Texts on the same topic; Read what the Messiah Jesus, peace be upon him, said about Muhammad (r) being Allah's Messenger.

Book 4: Holy Wars, Crusades, Jihad; 2nd Edition: Presently, much of the criticism directed at Prophet Muhammad (r) is concentrated on the rulings of warfare in Islam; This book is a relevant and necessary scientific research for all, including Muslims, who wish to know what Islam really legislates on aspects of war and peace.

Book 5: Biography of The Prophet of Mercy: A brief Seerah (biography) of Prophet Muhammad (r) taken from hundreds of resources; brief in size, but an enormous work requiring extensive research; It will be straightforward and easy to read with a few footnotes, Inshaallah.

Book 6: Muhammad, An Intimate Portrait: A detailed description of the man himself, Muhammad (r), Allah's Prophet, his qualities, the way he conducted himself in the religion, how he was as a father, friend, teacher, Zahid, worshipper of Allah, Mujahid, husband, political leader, etc., and how he established everything we call 'Islam'; This unique book describes the Prophet (r) beyond Seerah (biography) stories as it reveals his qualities and exceptional character.

Book 7: Muhammad, the Warrior Prophet: Because a great deal of misinformation surrounds the establishment of the Islamic State, mankind needs to know how the Islamic State was founded; This book narrates all Prophetic battles, counts all casualties, Muslim and otherwise, and compares rulings of warfare between the Quran and the Two Testaments.

Book 8: 101 Doubts about Islam and Rebuttal: Each doubt will be rebutted in 3-5 pages and will contain positive and negative comparisons between the Two Testaments and the Quran and Muhammad's Sunnah.

مُساهمةموضوع: trust upon Allaah if you are truly believers”   Amazing Quraan Icon_minitimeالأحد 16 سبتمبر 2007 - 19:59

موقف التوكل في الإسلام
من مدارج السالكين لإمام ابن القيم – رحمه الله

From the levels of Allaah’s Statement, إياك نعبد وإيا نستعين, is the station/level of At-Tawakkul. Allaah says:

“And trust upon Allaah if you are truly believers”

“And upon Allaah do the believers rely upon”

“And whoever places his trust upon Allaah then He is sufficient for him.”

“Our Lord, upon You have we relied, to You we have repented and to You we shall return.”

Allaah says to His Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم

“Say: He is Ar-Rahmaan, in Him we have believed and upon Him we place our trust.”

“So trust in Allaah, surely you are upon the clear truth.”

“So when you have decided about a matter, then trust in Allaah for Allaah loves those who rely solely upon Him.”

Allaah says about the Sahaabah:

“Those whom, when people said to them, ‘People have gathered against you’, it increased them in Eemaan and they said, ‘Allaah is sufficient for us and a blessed trustee.’”

“Indeed the believers are those who, when Allaah is mentioned, their hearts tremble with fear and when His Aayaat are recited to them their Eemaan is increased and upon their Lord to they place their trust.”

The Quráan is filled with the likes of these Aayaat. From the names of the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم is Al-Mutawakkil or the one who consistently trust upon Allaah.

Ibnul Qayyim said about the following two statements of Allaah:

“So trust in Allaah, surely you are upon the clear truth.”

“And why would we not place our trust upon Allaah while He has guided our paths.”

There is an indication that all of the Deen is contained within these two commands: that a servant remain steadfast upon the truth in his words and deeds, in his beliefs and intentions, and that he relies upon Allaah and trusts in Him. And from the words of the Prophets and Messengers we learn that servants are doomed either because of the absence of guidance or the absence of Tawakkul in Allaah – and when guidance from Allaah is accompanied by Tawakkul, the Eemaan is complete.

In the hadeeth of Ibn ‘Abbaas of the seventy thousand who will enter Paradise without being examined, “they are those who do not engage in divination through charms (Ruqya), birds (يتتيرون), or cauterizing – instead they trust in Allaah.” [Al-Bukhaaree and Muslim].

In a hadeeth reported by Al-Bukhaaree and Muslim, the Messenger of Allaah صلى الله عليه وسلم used to supplicate:

اللهم لك أسلمت، وبك ءامنت، وعليك توكلت، وإليك أنبت، وبك خاصمت، اللهم إني أعوذ بعزتك لا إله إلا أنت، أن تضلني، أنت الحي الذي لا يموت والجن والإنس يموتون
O Allaah, to You have I submitted, in You have I believed, upon You have I placed my trust, and to You have I turned to (in repentance), and for You have I argued on Your behalf; O Allaah, indeed, I seek refuge in Your Might, there is none worthy of worship in truth except You, that you allow me to fall into misguidance; You are the Ever-Living Who never dies while the Jinn and Men certainly die.

In a hadeeth reported by Imaam At-Tirmidhee, Umar ibnul Khattaab said that the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said, “Were you to trust in Allaah as is His due, He would provide for you just as He provides for the bird that sets out in the morning hungry and comes back in the evening well-fed.”

DO YOU WANT REAL LIFE INSURANCE? HAVE TAWAKKUL UPON ALLAAH!

The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said, “Whoever says when leaving his house: بسم الله، توكلت على الله ولا حول ولا قوة إلا بالله / In the Name of Allaah, I have placed my trust upon Allaah and there is no might nor power except with Allaah; it is said to such a person, ‘you have been guided, protected and insured in every way;’ and so one Shaytaan says to another, ‘what could you get of a man who has been guided, insured and protected?’” [Aboo Daawood].
